Rob is an experienced leader, coach and OD practitioner. His industry and sector experiences span Tertiary Education, Professional Services, FMCG Manufacturing, Health, Utilities, and Government & Public Sector. Along with over 12 years of real-world operational experience leading teams of up to 150 technical and professional employees, Rob has deep expertise and experience in designing and delivering a wide range of organisational development initiatives across this broad industry base.
As a result of years working in roles encompassing both internal and external consulting, along with client-facing project delivery roles, he possesses strong customer and stakeholder management skills; he has a laser like focus on ensuring the delivery of high quality, commercially beneficial outcomes that align with the unique strategic and business goals of clients and their business.
As an operational leader, Rob has delivered multi-million dollar capital works programs in the utilities sector including the electrical infrastructure design & construction for iconic projects such as the Building Education Revolution (BER), National Broadband Network (NBN), Elizabeth Quay and Perth City Link. He has personally led and implemented major functional organisational restructure programs along with business process and systems design. He has managed multi-million dollar budgets has been relentless in his pursuit to “bake in” to the teams he has been accountable for a continuous improvement mindset and approach to doing work.
Rob’s areas of OD skill and expertise include leadership development & coaching (design, delivery & evaluation of programs; provision of individual coaching & feedback) assessment & development centres (assessment centre design and facilitation, business simulations), leadership strength profiling, success profile and competency framework design, organisational culture diagnosis and program design, delivery & evaluation and behavioural simulation programs.
